…you may bluff your way in or lose out on even the best hand, getting inside your opponents head is what matters.
My learning of user psychology from my first ever job and first ever SaaS client made me fall in love with the integration of psychology and marketing.
Inbound marketers sneak inside the user’s conscience and navigate them throughout the website and even entice them to fill a form, hence, leads.
The users feel that they are in control of their own actions, but, *winks* NO.
Any savvy inbound marketer knows that after putting all the hard work and sweat to get visitors to your landing page, the next big step is to get them to convert and become leads for your company. When they finally reach your landing page, the last thing you want to do is scare them away with an unfriendly and intimidating form experience. A long form with a bulk of questions can make a user feel fatigued and frustrated.
I love inbound marketing leads. Do you?
It is a wonderful feeling when a prospect reaches out to you. Isn’t it?
They would have, out of love or necessity, filled out a form on your website and given out all details. Details – they would only share with trusted ones. They have expressed their desire to bond with you.
Now they are on your mailing list. They start receiving receiving your handcraft newsletters. Sometimes they open. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they even click.
Then one fine day. They “unsubscribe”.
That icon gets our heart beating!
Instagram has been out there for some time now and we, at Inbound Mantra, just got started with it.
Before I joined Inbound Mantra, I was surprised to see that we didn’t have any presence on Instagram – one of the fastest growing social media platforms. So I took it upon myself to create awareness about Inbound Mantra on Instagram.
I researched about the platform and analyzed what the others were doing and during this process, I learned a lot. I applied all my knowledge to create an Instagram page for Inbound Mantra and within a few hours, it gained some traction. This was very exciting for me and for the team.
SSL was important before, in 2017 it’s essential.
SSL Stands for “Secure Socket Layer”. It is the industry standard for web security technology and is accepted globally. As the name suggests, SSL establishes an encrypted link between the web server and the browser.
It is the reason some site urls are prefixed by ‘https’ (instead of ‘http’) and a green padlock.
Over the last decade, SaaS companies have leveraged the freemium model for converting customers.
Freemium model is a combination of free and premium product features with the ability to upgrade to a paid subscription.
This try before you buy strategy has given birth to some of the most successful SaaS companies – Slack, Mailchimp, Wistia and Box.
In the last couple of years, the freemium model has evolved due to the availability of large datasets. The companies that proved the value of freemium are now harnessing their vast datasets.
They pioneered a new piece of the marketing funnel that boosts efficiency and converts at around 50 percent – Product Qualified Leads (PQL).
There are scores of tools for Email Marketing.
But did it ever occur to you that newspaper could be one of them?
Trust me, this killer tool is a big bet.
It isn’t just another blog.
While a lot has been written about best practices concerning Facebook ads, I would restrict to sharing my organic experince with the same.
At Inbound Mantra, we use Facebook ads as one of our primary lead generation methods for our clients.
Looking back at my record, I have generated 4178 leads.
If you also wish to reach that number single handedly, I suggest you read further.
You know all campaign channels. But do you know how they work together?
Most marketers know the outlets that can be used to create a solid Internet marketing lead generation campaign — such as SEO, PPC, email marketing and display advertising — but very few know how all of the components can work together.
